By accessing, browsing, or shopping on this website, you agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. Your use of the site constitutes your agreement with the conditions that follow and we reserve the right to revise these conditions at any time. All changes made will posted here. You agree to check the section periodically to be aware of any changes. Your continued use of the site shall be considered your agreement to any modified conditions. Please read them carefully.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
Online sales
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Card Payments: Once the payment has been made you will receive an email confirming your purchase.

Bank Transfer: You will receive an email confirming receipt of your payment. Your order will only be confirmed once your payment has been confirmed as received. To expedite this, please remember to email your proof of payment to us.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We try our best to show accurate information to our customers when it comes to product Specifications, Prices, Discounts, Images and Availability. However, as our items are handmade and from a collective of small businesses, these may differ significantly without prior notice.
Collection, Delivery & Shipping policy
DELIVERY & SHIPPING
1. Orders will be delivered to the location provided by you within 2-5 working days for deliveries within Sri Lanka

2. If you require Next Day delivery, please contact us prior to placing your order to confirm possibility. Kindly note that the cut off time for placing next day delivery orders is 11 a.m and this option is not available on Sundays and public holidays.
3. For International shipping the delivery will be a minimum of 10 days. However certain products may not be available for international shipping. We use professional couriers to ensure that your package is delivered on time and in good condition. Please contact us prior to placing an order to confirm delivery possibility, and applicable delivery fees for international shipping to your location.
The customer is responsible for paying additional customs, duty, or any other goods or shipment related fees or taxes applicable for all international deliveries.

Note :
Delivery of the items will be based on the availability of the item you have ordered and on the delivery location.
Delivery period provided in our site will neither form a condition nor a warranty on the delivery period.

STORE COLLECTION
​
Isle of ARTisans physical store is temporarily closed due to the prevailing global pandemic. Therefore, Store Collection is no longer an option we offer.
​
Pre-paid items: Your items will be kept for you for collection at the store location. Please present your proof of purchase (confirmation email) at the counter.
​
Cash on Collection: We accept cash and card payments in store. Your purchase will be held in-store for a maximum of 48hrs for collection. We will be unable to reserve one-off items or items on low-stock without pre-payment. Please contact us before coming in to confirm availability.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Once a payment is made, cancellations are only accepted prior to dispatch.
RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY
Please refer the refunds and returns policy of each individual vendor/product as detailed in products listings. Where there is no listed product-specific returns policy, the below generic Isle of Artisans policy may apply.

Though we strive to give you a great customer experience each time you shop with us, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you could exchange the item you have purchased according to the following conditions.

Exchanges and Refunds will be undertaken on a merit basis only. If you are unsure of the products featured online, please drop in at our store and purchase your items instead of placing an online purchase.
The following requirements need to be fulfilled for accepting an item in exchange:
All items returned will be subjected to inspection by supervisor/store manager prior to accepting.
If you are not satisfied with the item you have purchased call us within 24hrs of receiving the product to claim an exchange.

We will not accept exchanges for products that have been damaged, distressed, or used. Items returned must be in its original fully resalable condition, with all the tags & packaging (if any). (Price tags, Wash tags, Brand labels, etc.)

The item in exchange will be released only upon receipt of the original product in its original condition, in original, undamaged packaging along with the invoice. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the exchange.
An exchange is valid only once per invoice.

Value of the exchanged items will be at the value of the invoice.
​
Any free promotional gift issued with an order must also be returned with the item.
NON-EXCHANGEABLE ITEMS

There are certain products that cannot be exchanged or returned for hygienic or other purposes. These include, but are not limited to, undergarments, earrings, bed linen, toiletries, cosmetics and skin/body care products, gems and other valuable items.

Items that were sold after alterations or customisation, are non-exchangeable.
Items sold in a clearance sales/Promotion or End of season Sale are not accepted in exchange.

PAYMENT TERMS & SPECIAL FEES
The full payment needs to be made prior to orders being dispatched. This can also include special fees or billing charges, shipping taxes and more that may be relevant.

ALL card payments and online transfers may be subjected to a bank/card fee

Online card payment options are pending via 2CheckOut and Stripe

Please contact your banking service provider for applicable online bank transfer fees.

• In-store payment via cash
​
• In-store card payment services are provided by Payable, Seylan, and Development Finance Corporation of Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
An additional 3.5% banks fee is applicable for the processing of all card payments.
